Dear Diary God,

I've always wondered how I would react to tragic news about my loved ones. I have wondered if I would cry immediately or just stare shocked, speechless... Today I found out that my dad had an acute heart attack. At first, when I read the sms, I read it as "had a heart attack" and immediately thought it was fatal. But thank you God that You are faithful and my dad's time on earth is not up yet. I know that You still have great plans for him to fulfill. Thank You that he had a successful minor operation and that You are in control. I love You God. And thank You for showing me how important family is as well. I know I keep on taking things for granted. I needed an eye opener and You did give me one. A big one, in fact. You are more than enough for me and Your words are true.

Your daughter,
Rachel

Nothing can shake those who are secure in God’s hands.

There's nothing my God cannot do.

I had an "electric shock" when switching on a switch last night.

Smiggle rocks my socks!

Yay I'm on Mid-semester break for a week!

Last Friday, I hosted the games in life group. And it turned out to be a success. The game I introduced was crab crawl. Found it on youtube by typing in ice breaker games. haha.

So here's the deal, you need to pair up in 2s and have your backs face each other. Then, you need to link arms and squat all the way down with no knees touching the ground and crawl from one end to the other. I made them do this 5 times consecutively. So in order to know that a team has reached one end, they need to smack a post-it note on the wall in front of them. Hehe. I came up with that part on my own.
The winners...

I slept over at July's for two nights. We tried to do our database assignment but failed to normalise! And.. I wish it could be a little warmer here in Melbourne.
Catching up with Bella and family last weekend.

Sleeping on July's new inflatable bed! Comfy!
