1st Semester's over!

Assignments are totally over! I even managed to finish everything one week before the due date! *pat on the back* I'm marked competent in everything already except for my songwriting, because my teacher still hasn't marked any of our work--yet! But I'm not that worried about that. Being competent in Musicianship is what mattered to me. hehe..

And yesterday was the last day of my first Semester. Woohoo! I'm like halfway into my course already. The next two weeks will be intensive fieldwork weeks before the conference. So yea, I hope it won't be too 'intense' for me. =P

Its winter now and really coldd.. But I somehow can still survive sleeping in a simple t-shirt and shorts as how I do back home. The blanket surprisingly makes up for it. I do have a a small fan heater in my room which I switch on occasionally if I really feel the need for it. But in other cases, I'm pretty fine and seem to be able to adapt to the change in weather. hehe =)

Okay, I've been meaning to blog okay. Just have been pretty hectic round here lately. Especially with the assignment due date breathing down my neck and causing me to panic to hand in all my assignments before then. I only have 2 more assignments now. =) Yay! Finished all the rest. *huge sigh of relief!*



I've recorded all my 3 songs. 2 of them done when I was back in Brunei. Ryan helped me play the accompaniment on the piano. Sounds good... And I used teacher Grace's Mac to record it on Garage band which made is sound more pro, I guess? Hehe...



I got to spend time with my dad in Singapore after Freshwinds for about 2 days. It was cool, father and daughter time. Freshwinds was a blast too, went swimming after not being able to because of cold weather (bought a new swimming costume too--lost my old one,haha!) and I learnt a lot on one hand. Especially in one particular area which is too private to mention here.



Well right now I've gotta get back to my assignments. I'll leave you with a few pics..Cheers!
