Back to school today. It was alright, except that I experienced immense period cramps the whole day. During computing I found out that it was 'the time of the month' for me. Then from then on it hurt so bad! Taking 2 menstrual panadol tables didn't help at all. Hurts even now..

I found out that we were supposed to have a maths mechanics test today. I totally freaked out and revised like crazy during my study period. I didn't look into the diary the whole holiday so I totally forgot all about it. Luckily in maths class teacher postponed it as many of my classmates didnt finish the holiday homework. I was like one of the only ones who did. Man I feel like such a nerd! hahah..

Then in Physics, our teacher assigned the whole class to create a Physics timeline. It has to be better than the previous yr 13 batch. Their timeline line was not even a straight line! hahah.. I know we can do better than them. Thinking of having it black, you know to stand out on a bright board. And silver pens and other colours as well.

I found out today that our exam results are coming out next week on the 8th of March which is on Thursday. Ahhh.. so scared! I have a replacement music lesson tomorrow at 5pm after school. I hardly even touched my piano last week!

After CS this morning, my family and I visited one of our relatives. My mum's uncle in fact. My mom's cousin, Jeff who got married last month renovated his room. Its swweeettt man.. I love it. The bed frame is so nice as well. The food there was great. I think its from Adaman Restaurant or something like that.

When I got home, I went to take a nap immediately. Didn't get much rest tho' cause my room was freakin' hot. I kept on tossing and turning around in my bed. I wanted to go to PLK instead but my dad said no as I had Mechanics homework to complete. Due tomorrow!

Tomorrow I return back to school. =S I had a nice break. In three weeks time, I'll have a longer one! muahahaha...

Had a really busy weekend. I only found the time now to blog. Firstly, on friday I went to KB to visit my grandparents. All my relatives from my grandpa's side were there for lunch as well. It was great to see them again after some time. My aunty Mei Ling brought me, Rachel and Aunty Nancy clothes shopping in KB. We wanted to go to a particular shop but it was closed due to National Day so we went to the KB iora branch instead. I bought like 5 things. heheh.. Three shirts and two skirts. I only wanted two shirts but then if I buy more then I get more idcount off te last item. So aunty nancy paid for one shirt so that Rachel could get 20% off her skirt that she put in my bill. Well it was fine by me if she was gonna pay for it Aunty ML also paid for two of my shirts. I was only given $100 to spend by my mom so yeah i paid for the skirts haha..

That night I had rehearsal for the Virtuoso open day recital. I had to backup sing. Our open day went well. I mean we did expect more people to come. Not that many people came. I'm disappointed because none of my classmates came. Nevertheless I did have fun helping out yesterday and entertaining people. Ryan, Ysmael and Theresa did a great job performing.

I spent my whole day out yesterday because I had worship practice at night as well. So like I only reached back home at around 930pm yesterday. Tired, but happy at the same time.

Today, CS went well. My solo performance went smooth. I was so nervous. But when I got up there to sing I felt the Holy Spirit just take over the entire performance and I wasn't that nervous anymore. I was so afraid I wouldn't hit the high notes cause my voice was so cracky from rehearsing the praise and worship songs. But it was all good in the end. PRAISE THE LORD. =)

God truly has a Father's heart and we are should consider ourselves so blessed to have a Father like Him who always has an unconditional love for us. Who is willing to accept us with open arms no matter what the circumstance. Even tho' sometimes we run to Him with wrong intentions, He is still there waiting for us and will run to us, when He sees us coming back to Him. Just like a father who welcomes back his lost son.

Wheee... I sure had a wacky day. I got a call from Bev around lunch time saying that I was asked my dad to go to Virtuoso for a short breifing for Saturday's open day. I'm gonna help out with the registration stuff, along with Bev, Faith and maybe Joyce. Ting, my bro, Nick, Bry are doing ushering.

I let Ting listen to the song I composed. She agrees with me that the chorus part sounds a bit like a sound we know. hahaha..

After lingering around in Virtuoso for a while, I was dragged to help out with Muzikgarten which are the 2-6 year olds music class. Ting was dragged into it with me as well. hehehe... Ysmael who is known as 'Mr.Smile' to the lil' kids for short, was great with the kids. He can touch his toes without bending his knees whilst me and Ting can't! How odd does that sound? He said that we are lacking exercise. hehehe... We basically sang a few songs with the kids complete with hand actions, introduced the various instruments to the little ones and how each instrument sounds like. They are all so cute, I even tho some of them don't say a word at all. They still need some warming up to the others I guess.. I wish I could pinch their cheeks.

Its only an hour to go til' my mom's HG comes over for CNY fun and games celebration. I think about 30+ ppl are gonna flood my house. Veivien isn't coming cause she has visiting to do and Angel ain't coming either cause she has tuition. Hopefully Abi comes!

My family and I are heading down to KB tomorrow. It'll be a busy day for me tomorrow as I also have a rehearsal for the open day tomorrow night. So like I don't think I'll be posting an entry tomorrow.

I just woke up and my maid just informed me that my grandaunty just killed a Snake! Yikes. It was in an upstairs toilet in my house. She said it was pretty big.

Anyway, believe it or not, I still haven't completed my Mechanics homework. So much to do la. 2 whole exercises with about 8 to 9 questions with 4 subquestions in each. It takes time to think as well ok.

Uncle PC and gang dropped by our house last night for a CNY visit. Tim was so hyper until he vomitted. Lucikly he caught his vomit in his hands... eeww.. don't even want to think about it. I completed the lyrics to the song, 'Revived', that I was writing earlier this year. I also have written music to it but I guess the music can still be better. Maybe I'll get Ryan to help me out with it!

I pretty much had fun yesterday at the 2 houses that I visited. Kim & I are still looking for a song to perform for the X29 competition. We already have a few songs in mind, but we just simply don't have the karaoke version for them. man... so hard to find!

At Aunty Vic's house it was pouring cats and dogs. We were watching short clips on her recent holiday in England and France. So nice the scenery. And also luckily we left her house at the right minute... because after we left her house got flooded!

Gonna go out now with my dad and grandpa from KB. Going for breakfast first then going to see Rachyness off at the airport. Like I said yesterday, shes leaving today. =( Gonna miss her loads.

My dad helped me out with some maths Mechanics. And now I have to continue with somemore. I have like 2 whole exercises to finish. So I mind as well get started now.

I found out that Aunty Vic invited my family to her house tonight as well. So we're going there. Only wished that it was yesterday and not today that she invited us. Then I would have bumped into a certain someone. *winks*I miss you babe!
Like I said, everyone is still in the festive mood. Rachy is leaving tomorrow to Melbourne. Gonna miss her. Been spending most of the first two months of this year with her. Especially all those times we sneak away to Easyway for a snack and drink. Heheh.. Well all the best Rachy with your Uni life. I know you will have fun, even without me! =P
Mulan II was on Disney Channel just now. It was the first time I watched it. Pretty nice i guess.. okay okay I admit it, I am a disney freak. I can't help it. I still have my childish nature in me. ^^

Well everyone is still in the festive mood. I'm on a week's break. But as for my bros, they have to go back to school. Just because I have a week off doesn't mean I'm that 'free'. I have homework and coursework to attend to as well.

My friend, Kim, invited me to her open house later this evening so I think I'll be going there later. Thats the only invite I have for today. So far the I have collected a fairly large amount from all the ang paus that I received. thanks to all the generous aunties, uncles and relatives out there. Gong Xi Ni.

I guess I'll be spending most of my afternoon working on my Mechanics. I watched 'You, Me & Dupree' on DVD last night. It was real funny. Owen Wilson really cracked me up. When I went to the cinemas the other day, I saw that 'Oceans 13' is coming out soon. That should be interesting. I love tactical shows like that. I don't know why, really catches my attention. =)

Yesterday was a really busy day for me. We had open house from like 11am to 6pm when we intended it to be only until 5pm. People just kept on flowing in. Some stayed really long whilst others just dropped in for a short while only.

Only a few of my classmates came. Zim was the only one from my lunch gang that came. So upset! What happened to the rest of the gang? *Sniff*

Anyway I still enjoyed myself even tho' I was extremely tired by the end of the day. Went to visit 2 houses at night then went home to hit to bed. Going to visit a few ppl today. so yeah. Will blog later again.

Just got back from my keyboard lesson at Virtuoso. I enjoyed meself. I learnt more on how to sway and lift my fingers off the keyboard the right way today. And like I guess I have to be less tense an focus and being more flexible. I actually did some theory today as well because the Virtuoso manuscripts are finally in stock. I learnt basic stuff like inversions, degrees, chords of various keys, stuff like that. I did inform Ryan that I've done up to Grade 6 theory in piano but seems like he wants to review everything again, oh wells.

I forgot to mention that I found out a few days ago that I have to sing for CS next Sunday. The song is entitled 'Deep of Your Grace' written by Mia Fieldes. Its a really sweet song and has a deep meaning to it. Ryan will be playing the keyboard for me. My dad had a listen in to us practice the piece just now and he said it was good. I'm happy to hear him say that. heheh..

I had my usual Easyway drink just now as well. Green Tea with Rainbow jelly. hehe.. thats what I usually order. I guess you can say I am a Green Tea freak. Bought some DvDs to watch tonight. muahaha.. Namely Just My Luck (starring Lindsay Lohan), Material Girls (starring Hilary and Haylie Duff), Funny Money (starring Chevy Chase) and You, Me & Dupree (starring Owen Wilson, Kate Hudson, Matt Dillon and Michael Douglass). I think my family and I are gonna watch You, Me & Dupree after dinner. I know its not that new, but I haven't watched it yet. I've watched Just My Luck before but I love it and don't mind watching it again.

Tonight my family and I are going to iLotus to eat..(again!!!!!) Errr...I think this is like the 10th time this year that we are dining there already. And its only the 2nd month of the year! I wonder how many times it would become by the end of the year...

Oh did I mention that I'm having my mid-term break now? I have like a week+ off school! Yay! I do have a bit of holiday homework tho'. Mechanics and I have to continue working on my computing coursework which is due by the end of this term. I'm glad that I only have one subject with coursework. Some students have 3 or more. Think of the deadlines they have to meet. *Phew*

Hey sorry I didn't blog yesterday. Hadn't the time. Well, my maths test didn't go well, I mean although it was only two freaking questions, I found it tough. Arrgh this teacher give test also half and half one.

Acts service yesterday really brightened up my day. Was glad to see pearly and cythia come after a long time. Oh and Natalie came as well. *applause* We had a time of fun and games. We played this game whereby like Ling gives us a word and we have to sing a song containing that word. For example the word may be 'eyes' and so an example of a song might be 'Behind these Hazel eyes'. It was really fun. Even though my team came in last place, at least we really enjoyed ourselves. =) Then we also had solo competitions like, solo dance, impersonations, solo keyboard etc. Ling and Jeremy bought the X29ners mandarin oranges and she also invited Paul and Aaron to do a mini lion dance around the orange box. So funny. ahha... We also sang a bday song to Michelle whose bday is coming up.

Last night I went to the saloon to have my hair trimmed as I felt its getting kindda long. I had a manicure and pedicure as well. Man this really isn't the time of year to go to the saloon. Everything is charged double!! So expensive man. My bill amounted to like $80+. Ah wells...

Today is gonna be another keyboard lesson of mine and I still don't think I have practiced enough so I'm gonna go get on to it now. hehehe.. ^^ Chinese New Year is tomorrow! its the year of the pig. Although you don't see decorations of pigs in Brunei. Haram wah... =P

Hey there,
I just got back from HG at Eugenia's house. We learnt how important encouragement is in this life. And that we should look above, before, beyond ourselves. =)

The food was great, so many selections. Its been this way ever since the HG started. Hope they keep it up. The ice breaker was fun as well. really funny.. haha.. its like playing chinese whispers but instead of whispering the msg across, team mates had to draw a picture and pass it on by drawing it on the next person's back. The last person in the team had to draw the picture on paper. It was really funny because team 1's picture was supposed to me a dog but it ended up to look something like a caterpillar. And as for my team, team2, it was supposed to be a pig but it turned out to look like a human's face. hahah... I was the last person in my team so it wasn't my bad ok. Cause it wasn't me who was involved in passing the drawing. Team 3 won because they managed to draw something close to looking like a cat.

Sapphire HG also gave my dad a bday cake and sang the birthday song to him as well. My dad looked pleased. hehe.

Well thats about it for today. I'm gonna go hit the bed now. G'nite!

A way back into love

You will never believe how long it took for my family and I to settle down for a meal. First off we went to Frats. We reserved a table but then we found out that there was no reserved table for us. But the waitress prepared us a table and we sat down comfortably. When we asked for te meu, we found outthat we couldn't order any Alakad because only a Valentine set meal was served for the night. And it costs like $40 a person for a 3-course meal! So my dad was like "forget it! lets dine somewhere else..."

We ended up across the street in Zaika, an indian restaurant. Who knew that Frats and Zaika are owned by the same person? The food was scrumptious anyway. I love the taste of exotic spices and stuff that that. Garlic Nan was fantastic and also all the side sauces that came with it.

After dinner, my parents and I dropped my bros back home and then went to the Empire Cinema to catch a second show. We watched 'music and lyrics' starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. Man the storyline was so good. And I love the song entitled 'A Way Back into Love'. The lyrics was so deeply moving.

Happy Valentine's Day

ah Yes love is in the air. My dad turns 43 today. Not too young, not too old. Hehe.. We're going out for dinner tonight at Frats. Then we will catch a second show movie at the Empire. Looks like its gonna be a pretty late night out.

I received candygrams and rose-a-grams from various friends today in school. All in all 16 candies and 7 roses. I bought a rose for my dad and addressed it to myself so that I can take it home. I feel so blessed to be loved by those around me. For all those who bought me either a candy or a rose, thanks a million! I really appreciate them...

I didn't swim for PE today, I told my teacher I didn't feel to good yesterday and I don't intend to get sick by swimming today. Its the truth. My maths test was cancelled and postponed to Friday. Mr.Fry had mercy on us as we told him we needed to revise more in class on the topics. And my physics test went well. Hope I pass it!


As today is a Wednesday, I did my usual MAD activity in reception. They were celebrating CNY today. They were like dressed up in Chong Sam and Chinese costumes. So cute... check out the pics below:-

The reason why we went out to eat was cause my dad was taking out his 2 visitors.

Now the only question that remains is.. how did they put it up there? Yes yes long, tall ladders blah blah but seriously how? I wanna know...

My maths teacher just told us today that we are gonna have a 2 chapter test tomorrow on partial integration and volume integration. Oh common... at least tell us a week or 3 days in advance. I'm just gonna do my best to prepare for it. Not to mention I also have to study for my Physics N-Z graph test tomorrow. I know I can do it!

Tomorrow is Valentine's day. Its also my dad's, Uncle Francis' and Adam's bday, all in one. =) Valentine babies. So cool!

I got the shock of my life when I entered the 'new' hall in my house when i got back from school just now. We call it the 'new' hall because it is an extension of our house but now it surely has regained its title. I mean it looks so different! The curtains have been changed, the seat covers are changed as well and there are vases everywhere not to mention frames of art hanging on the wall. My grandmother has really done it now. She even wanted to change the lovely blue carpet to tiles but in the end tidak jadi. YES! I so prefer carpet. =P Well i guess it is time for a change tho'. A new look for the new Chinese year. Yes CNY is around the corner. We're having open house on the 1st day so everything has to be prim and proper by then.

Guess what? I passed my 2nd mechanics test! =) So happy. I got like 60+% I know I could have done better if it weren't for those little silly mistakes. hehe. I'm so proud of Tiny, shes beaten me twice already in the mechanics tests. Way to go girl! Mr H. said that he should buy us pizza more often before tests since we scored so well. hahah...

My family and I are going out for dinner tonight. I thought that it was an early bday dinner for my dad but I was wrong. Its for a diff reason. Some ppl are visiting from overseas so my dad decided to take them out. If I'm not wrong, we're most probably going to either Frats or Charcoal. I don't mind either! I love eating at both places. ^^

Other than that my day has been alright so far. Things seem to be clearing up... And the future looks bright ahead of me.

Okayy... today has been really.. really um.. theres no right word to describe it. My cousin, faith called me up and told me she was gonna walk over to my house and she sounded real sad. I didn't know why and then she hung up on the convo. I got real worried so I dropped by her house. Then I found her there crying on her doorstep with her bf. She said that she'll talk later and she looked like she wanted to be left alone. So I left her house and until now I'm still very puzzled. She is supposed to be working this afternoon, don't know whether she even made it there.

Other than that, CS this morning was alright. And once again the ppl came and filled God's house eagerly to worship and adore Him.

I just feel that something in my life right now ain't right. I have a feeling that I do know what it is. And its just right there staring in my face. I want to let it go, but I don't know how. I want to let it show but I don't know the right way around it. And what if doing so was just making the biggest mistake in my life ever? Lord I need your guidance. I can't live without You here by my side.

Well, seems like everytime I carry on in this life, another trial or temptation comes my way but I have to just stay focused because I know that this narrow path I take is not an easy one...

My keyboard lesson went well. My day has been kindda weird tho'. To find out the truth about certain things in my life kindda took me aback. And now I'm kindda confused. Oh well... let God deal with it. =) This won't hold me down cause I'll still be pressing on in life. No time to let these type of circumstances stand in my way of serving my Lord and King.

Woohoo... so pumped up! Youth camp is around the corner once agin. Woo hoo... so excited for that! And we have Matt Fielders from Paradise Church to come and speak to us this time! Sweet... never met the guy before. Our theme this year is EXTRAORDINARY. Its gonna be big. We're hoping to have over 200 ppl for the camp. Gotta break the mindset and barriers of this nation. *winkz* Not to mention the logo that Ling made is so out of the ordinary as well.

Venue to be confirmed. Oh but I know our God never fails us, he is always faithful. He is so gonna provide the best accomadation and hall ever. We are also planning to have an 'Amazing Race' [X29 Version] heheh... I know that this camp is gonna be so different from all previous ones cause God wants to move even more mightily than before and His presence will be there throughout the entire camp.

I have my keyboard lesson at Virtuoso again this afternoon. I forgot to mention that my teacher, Ryan is pro at jazz piano. Whoaa.. just watching him move his fingers up and down a piano takes my breath away. I enjoyed my lesson last week. Can't wait for today's one as well! Many ppl have been signing up for the music school. We are still waiting for a violin and woodwind teacher to come tho'. We're doing it in phases. Step by step.

The swimming gala yesterday was alright. Kindda boring tho' sitting there watching ppl swim for 4 and a half hours! Blehs.. I enjoyed the company of my friends tho. The weather was great. And they were selling "hot dogs"(sausages wrapped in a piece of bread not buns) for $1, ice cream [Mr Softy was there too...], and drinks as well. Overall, my house, red house, got third. Blue and Green tied for first place and of course that meant that Yellow came in last.

Today I HAD to swim because I had no excuse. It was so tiring! I haven't done so many laps in ages. And the coach even wanted me and Tiny to learn the butterfly stroke. Yes I did say me and Tiny cause it was only us two swimming today! Everyone else managed to escape somehow hmmm... Next week is the last week for swimming for PE. YES!

And thens.. what else arh? Oh yeah I passed both my Physics tests yesterday and today. Yeah! I'm so happy okay cause usually I would flunk all my physics tests.

My bro sold off his Ultra drums {finaLLY!} Hes been trying to sell it off for ages. Now he used the money he gained to buy 2 cymbals to add to his drum set. hahah... I dont think he'll ever have enough cymbals.. =P

Tomorrow Mr Hatchett, my maths teacher will be belanja-ing us pizza on rewarding us for the good effort for our C3 exam. Sweett.... He can really swim man. Blue house captain lagiz.

I have another maths test this coming friday. Oh did I mention that I did well for my mechanics chap 1 test as well? ^^ so happee.. hehe.. wheeeeeeee....

Okay where was I? Oh yes... we went to the network room and there was a fried lizard stuck in one of the components and my friends held it up to my face... ewww.. so disgusting. You know me and lizards, we just don't go. And did I mention that it was Joel's bday yesterday? Well it was... and hes 18 now I think. I should be right. =)

And tomorrow is Lis' 18th bday. So I would like to do a shout out to her....

JIS is having their annual swimming gala tomorrow as well. So yeah I have to attend it, if not we'll get detention or something. Ahhhh... driving me crazy. We have to be at the stadium from 1 to 6pm you know plus having a half day of school in the morning lagi. I'm excused from participating in the swimming I hope cause I have the girl monthly thing. =P Hope that tomorrow's weather will be perfect for the ocassion.

My parents keep reminding me that 'It's your final year'. Not to have any slips 'n' what nots during this final year. I don't want to be reminded over and over again. I know that its important to do well this time round. But a girl also wants to have some fun. If you know what I mean...

Bev and Xiao Zhun dropped by JIS today. It was good to see XZ after such a long time. Still looking cute and pretty as ever. hehee.. Our computing class took a trip to the network server room to check out the file server and stuff. Since we are on the topic of networking our teacher decided to take a trip there. Not that I've seen the place be4 but the teacher thought we hadn't so yeaa...

Its another day in the year 2007. I start keyboard lessons at Virtuoso today! =)Yipeee... And my teacher is Ryan. I haven't even met him yet but he is really good from what I hear from ppl.

Aahhh... I have my Computing Design section to be completed by Monday. And tomorrow after CS I'm going to KB to visit my grandma. Looks like I have to bring my work down with me. Sighzx...

This entry is gonna be really short cause I really don't know what to say. All I know is that God is the potter and I am His clay and I'm willing to let Him take me and mould me as He pleases. Like Ting's nick now says.. "Its a slam-bam process!" heheh... It can be painful at times but I know that its all worth going thru the flames and testing. So that I can come out strong, victorious and not crack up.

Can't wait for my keyboard lesson!

Wow its february already? I don't have much to say for today. Here's a pic my friend gave me from my bday celebration in school last december. These are my lunch buddies. Okay... I'm the only Chinese one. heheh...

They bought me a cake and 5 diff kinds of pizza i think for us all to share. Yum! =) Its a blessing to have friends like them... Friends I will never forget...
