Walk The Walk

My devotional today was entitled Walk the walk. How 'chun' is that? hahaha... especially when that has been the theme of my spiritual life so far this week.

We please God when our walk matches our talk.

Today in Database class, I learnt something new about Monash College teachers. They can actually see what each student has on their individual monitors all at once. So like he can tell if one of us is playing games, or googling or in other words... paying attention in class or not. Hahaha. It all started when Ritchie asked us. "Who is playing crazy taxi?" I was like whoa... how did he know? haha. Now I know how... =P

I skipped my earlier class today. I had a hard time sleeping last night. I don't know why. Is it because I left my heater on and it was too stuffy? Its been extra cold these few nights! BRRRR....!! And next week its gonna be rainy ='(

We took 'family pic' in Life Group today! Will definitely post it up when I get it =D

Happy 19th Birthday July!!

We're the same age now for a while. Hehe.

July and I went to Chadstone to celebrate her birthday =D We went to Wagamama for dinner. I had Chicken Ramen. July was so nice to treat me dinner. Thanks heaps!!

July dyed her hair last weekend. Shhh, don't tell her mom, she doesn't know---yet! Haha. It looks good, no?

I walked past Vodafone and I was like WHOA! I wan this phone!

Giant iPhone 3GS!

After dinner, July and I headed to the arcade again. Its already tradition =P
She played the crane machine and got be the little dinosaur from Ice Age 3~!! Hehe, thanks July!

We played Deal or No Deal, this time understanding how the game works. We got some good points and won good tickets. =D

July played the Stacker machine over 9 times in order to win the minor prize of 50 coupons. And today, finally she managed to accumulate enough coupons to win her gigantic Bob!

Doesn't she look so happy? Haha. Its been a colddd day! Raining the whole afternoon. I enjoyed myself much. There was an eclipse today, of which I didn't get to see. But I did see it on TV. haha.

I helped out at the CCM counter earlier this afternoon. I handed out tickets to passer bys for the Gold-Coin Pasta Night next Thursday. Some people were really rude. They just walked on by when I reached out my hand. Now I know how those people in malls handing out flyers feel.. Its not a good feeling. It was fun helping out! After helping out, I tried out the nasi lemak with beef rendang at the campus centre. Mmmm it was so good!! Highly recommended!

Demi Lovato's new album is out today!! Wheee~! Unfortunately, its not out here in Aussie yet. Why is that? Hmm... I downloaded some of her songs to have a listen. Its real good! =D And mostly written by herself. Well done Demi! She looks so so much more mature than in her last album. Only 17 this year believe it or not! Wow.

The above passage really spoke to me last Life Group. I don't know why because I've read this passage hundreds of times but I never realised that it was about obeying God's word. Wow! It hit me like a ton of bricks. My father wants me to walk the talk. I wrote a song about that last year. And I recalled it. Its a reminder to me to stay on the narrow path. And its about being a living sacrifice.

I miss my Bladders!

Today July and I went to Glen to have lunch at Thai Yim!! Pad Thai! Penang Red Curry! Tom Yam Goong! Mmmm.... so satisfying. To kill time during our 2 and a half hour lunch break, we browsed around Glen Centro. For the first time ever I didn't buy anything! =P I did however spend $2 on this stack the blocks machine game thingy, which I lost. hahah. Its fun though and the major prizes are like iPod Nanos and Nintendo DS! So it's worth a shot. =D

I'm feeling so tired and tomorrow is an early day for me. =( I better head to bed soon.

So.... what I have I been up to? My last post was not very wordy. Mainly because my family was here and I spent time with them (meaning eating out for every meal--haha). And also I was caught up with my first assignment for my second semester. Its all completed and done! YAY! Handed it in already =) So that's out of the way. Now for another 3 assignments... =S

I watched Transformers: The Revenge of the Fallen last week with my dad and Dimethri (MaLaKa =P). It was my first time watching a transformers show. I found it really good. The graphics were awesome!

Today I went for Yum Cha (Australian way of saying Dim Sum) with my life group! We tried this place called New Royal Garden. It was yum! But a bit too oily for my liking.

After Yum Cha, I went to July's house to study. I also went to Hilary's to cut my fringe trimmed. I couldn't stand it covering my eyes any longer. So snip snip snip.

After we studied Networking and Data Comm., we headed to Chadstone! To reward ourselves. hahaha. We had Nandos. One of the combo meals.

Then we went to the arcade! July is aiming to collect 800+ coupons to win a bigger blue Bob (Monsters vs Aliens). hahah. So we played for a while whilst waiting for the next bus time. We tried hitting the crabs game and this came called Deal or No Deal. We didn't understand how to play at first so we got really low points. We only realised how to play it when it was time to leave. =P And.... not forgetting, we played Time Crisis 4! Woot!
