My actual timetable started this week and boy was it hectic! My only free day is like, Monday! All the other days I have at least one thing on. I found out that I'm doing hosting for Colour. I might have the same job for the album recording. But then I might be on choir too. So I'm confused. I have to verify that.

I'm coping alright without dad. And mom is gonna be here in a week's time, so.... yea. Haha. I really don't know what to blog about. Because its basically almost the same thing that I do every week. Well the highlight of this week was that I bought a TNIV Study Bible. Its really heavy. But its sooo good. Very good footnotes.

I've been home alone alot lately as my guardians have been busy with their trade show in the city. They own a flower business. The flowers are made from wood shavings or something like that. Its really pretty. I'll take a pic of that one day.

I wish I had pics, but I'm sorry to say, I don't. Will try take some okay. This will be a short entry until I have something interesting to blog about =P hehe!

What A Glorious God

I enjoyed another exciting experience being in the choir. =) Plus it was Ps. Brian's 54th birthday! The entire congregation sang Happy Birthday to him, when he revealed that it was his birthday. And when he told us how old he was, I was like noh... no way, he so looks younger than that. And he claims to have a spirit of a 15 year old hehe.

And the coolest part was, when we were in our choir's lounge, he came in from his lounge next door and invited the entire choir over. I got to wish him personally and shook his hand. The leaders and elders were wearing tiny party hats and blowing those party thingys that made sounds. It was pretty funny to see big, grown men wearing such tiny hats. He asked us to feel free to munch on anything we saw. It was such a privilege to see his lounge. Its so modern and has a stylish touch to it. And we sang happy birthday to him and I got a piece of his birthday cake! It was yummy...

Mia Fieldes was in the toilet doing her makeup and I was like oh.my.gosh! Here's the girl whose lyrics and songs I simply adore. I gathered up my courage to talk to her. I couldn't resist but tell her how much I liked her songs. She released a new album as well, with new songs and some old songs that shes written before. Its superb!

Dad went back to Brunei yesterday. So I'm on my own now. Officially trying to be Independent. =P I went for Powerhouse (18-25 youth group) for the first time on Friday. It was cool. Everyone seemed to be more mature and less rowdy then the younger groups, if you know what I mean.

I've got my timetable for next week which when proper classes starts. Man I just realised that I'll be even busier than ever as I've got longer days. Sniffs! Except for Tuesdays which is the shortest day for me of the week. It appears that in the first year of the course now they introduce songwriting and performance. Cool! I've always wanted to learn more about songwriting. =) I'm looking forward to those classes...

God give me the supernatural strength I need to carry through each day...

God, make a fresh start in me,
shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life.

A Love That Never Fails...

I tried to be Spider-woman last Monday...

The wall...
Yeap, I went rock climbing for the first time in my life. It was heaps of fun! But, my hands totally ached and cramped up after that. I don't mind going again tho'! Its just so fun! hehe...

I know as the week progresses I have been blogging less than less. Its just that my timetable (in and outside of classes) has been swamped with events. And I get so tired by night time, so I'll try to blog as much as I possibly can alright?

We had Sisterhood on Tuesday, thats when all the gals get together. It was such a prettyy night. Canary yellow was the theme colour. There was a girl that performed the Umbrella song by Rihanna. Her voice is just so beautiful, I really admire it. She sang the song whilst holding a yellow umbrella and twirling it round and round. Very girly, its ladies' night after all! I was in the choir again =)

Yesterday, We had WACA night. Its basically where all the Creative Arts students get together and JH shared the vision for the year. I'm really pumped about what is gonna happen throughout the year. The album recording is only less than 4 weeks away after Colour.

And of course, today is Valentine's Day. Its also my dad's bday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! LOVE YA LOADS! <3

God Bless you richly!

Happy Valentine's day to my dearest one back home whom I love so incredibly much. Mishing you like crazy! ;) XOXOXO

I had a pretty long weekend. Where to begin?

On Friday I had classes til' 2.30pm then I headed to Castle Hill Towers with Krsytel. It was fun hanging and shopping with her. Even tho' we did part ways to buy different things at times. (We were running short of time as malls here close really early) Our main goal was to buy clothes and shoes for our choir uniform.

Yup thats right, I was on the choir for the first time last Sunday! =) It was an awesome experience. It was my first time on the stage. It was hard to find the tops for choir even those the colours are really basic ones (light blue, light yellow, light grey, light green), but with them having to be at least elbow length and not low cut was difficult to find.

As part of the choir, you get a backstage pass. And this also allows us to access the green room which is like where there are makeup and changing rooms and a lounge for the choir. There is food provided for us. Including gummy bears and celery sticks! hehe.. Jad was leading for the morning. And it was really great, I'm rostered on the two morning services every week now. I have to report at 7am in the morning. *WOW!*, I know...

Okay, I know I skipped Friday and Saturday night. Back to Fri night, we had a Chinese New Year gathering at an uncle's place. Even tho' this is sort of like going 'visiting' as this person had an 'open house', I still felt like the Chinese New Year spirit isn't here, its really not like back home. =( On Saturday night, the Asian community at Hillsong had a lil' get together to makan and everyone dressed up in like chong sam and stuff. But i didn't cause I didn't have mine with me. hehe... Then last night, it was my guardian's turn to host a chinese new year dinner. All the food so reminds me of home.

I moved a queen-sized bed into my room today. It looks so much better, well at least it feels better. I'm used to queen-sized beds okayy... So yea. I'm happy! =) We did a lil' bit of shifting of the bed and the study table to have a peek...

It looks messy I know, but its not okay! =P

Meet Shelly, she's half american and half Korean...

This is like my first Chinese New Year away from home =( Its different, because I don't get to have an open house or do visiting that I normally do every year. And plus the ang paus! Sniffs. Not saying that I didn't receive any here, in fact I did! But you get my point.. hehe. But u did have a fantastic new year eve dinner. We had steamboat. Check out this electric steamboat wok-like thingy. I'm so used to the gas ones. hehe. And this morning she cooked hot cross buns and char siew pau! (I told you they were good cooks! hehe...)

And tonight my guardian also cooked up an excellent hearty meal. It was so yummy. Krystel came over after college today to follow me to Leadership Vision night. And I just got back from it, so I'm really poofed after the extremely longg day. The past two days have been by far the longest...

First day of College

7:45 PM
Whoaa! I feel like I've been sitting down all day. The first two weeks are intensive weeks where all the streams are combined. So basically we just listened the whole day to lectures and stuff. (It can be tiring, I can assure you)

The coolest part was taking attendance. We don't do it by raising our hands when our name is being called out or anything of that sort. Instead, we all have Student Cards that have barcodes on them and we just simply scan ourselves in (in order to say we're present) like on like barcode readers. I feel so modern! hehehe...

My was like from 9am to 4pm. And tomorrow it begins even earlier at 830am! Ahhh.. Well that's college life for you.

I attended a connect group this evening. It was different then from back home. My leader is so pumped and on fire. She is so cool. I love her already. =) I can't wait for our next gathering.

Well I don't have anything else to say, so I best be heading to bed now. I'm exhausted after the longg day!

The weekends are usually more free and easy for me unless I have to serve in Church.

Yesterday I went shopping at Westfield. It was raining practically the whole morning yesterday so we have pretty cool weather. But nevertheless the shopping was gggreat! I didn't buy many clothes (as many as I usually do) hehe, but I did buy a nice wooly jacket was really nice and it was worth the price. I'm happy bout that one! And I got a nice penticoat(i think thats what you call it?) type of dress too from SoulFresh (a pretty new brand). And not forgetting some shorts and tops from Lonsdale (influenced by my sayang hehe...)

Today we have another Asian Church service. And then, we might be watching a movie. I hope for it to be 27 dresses! I wanna watch that so bad. And until today I still haven't watched Enchanted! =( I so wanna buy the DVD! Ahh!

And yes, there is EasyWay here in Sydney too! =D Here I come, Green tea with rainbow jelly!
