I am NOT forgotten

1:26 PM
I went to watch the nativity play last night at SAS. Actually, I was last minute asked to be in a small part of it as well. A couple of us,ex-students, were asked to do a mime on the creation. I enjoyed doing it even tho' its been a while since I last did a mime and it was also very last minute so we only had like 1 or 2 complete practices with the proper song! hehe..

We used the song from the mime we saw on youtube. Its called Lifehouse-Everything? Here you can watch it, its really good. Especially when everything builds up!

Okay the funniest part last night was when we ripped Tyng's outer clothes off. I mean like Nard had a mask on and he couldn't see thru it well. So he was tugging at the WRONG shirt. haha... and now like Tyng's shirt which she told me is apparently from Hong Kong has now expanded. We're sorry! Well Nard said he'll buy you a new shirt right...

I didn't have my cam with me cause I forgot and then I asked my mom to bring it and she also forgot, so yea, no pics! Sorry!

I am not forgotten, God knows my name!

He knows my name, He knows my every thought, He sees each tear that falls and He hears me when I call....

Whats been goin' on...

1:27 PM
Well, I haven't blogged in a while. And my schedule has just been swamped! I've been extremely busy printing the name tags and what nots for the Freshwinds Conference. And let me tell you, being the only person doing it, is tough. I really thank Rachy for her help. My laptop already no more memory space. Literally no more! --even after deleting and backing up so much stuff. So I think I need to bring it to the shop to add more hard disk working space.

I had rehearsal on Wed night. And after that Lindss followed me home for a sleep over. Not much of a sleep over was it Lindss? She drank so much 'almost' expired apple juice that she didn't sleep much. She was so HYPER! She took a few pics of me, although we didn't take any pics together.. i wonder whyy...

Me holding a coffee bean bag with a muffin inside. Jumped for joy cause I was hungryy...
On Thurs night, my family and I celebrated my Grandpa's bday (maternal)... Ate at guess where? iLotus again!
the cake says Papa, cause its from my mom to her dad... I did my hair up really purdy for the occassion. hehe..
Yesterday, I was out practically the whole day with nativity play pract and also Acts. It was great! Hungry people are Desperate People. Amen!
And tonight, Rachy is celebrating her belated bday at iLotus (figures).... Got her a prezzie already. Hope she likes it! The theme is Black & White. *scratch head* I think I'm gonna wear my prom dress....

I got my IELTS scores! I obtained an IELTS score of 7.0! =) I'm just glad I got it over and done with. Like I said, I didn't even need to sit for the test actually. Now to apply for my Visa. I'm only gonna do it after I turn 18 so that there won't be any hassle in signing under 18 parental permission forms and what not.

Went to the saloon today with my bro Dave to get our hair dyed.

The Process
The outcome

Mine is like copper-ish coloured highlights. I wish I did Mauve instead. That will be my next target. Dave's hair is like light brown with Red highlights.

Got full dress rehearsal tonight. Can't wait to see the costumes.

The trip was fun, haven't been out of town in a while so yea. =) And great experience cause I've never crossed the border or been to Temburong for that matter of fact. I never knew that you could travel to Temburong by car. And that you had to use ferries. I think all in all we had to make a total of 6 stops at checkpoints to chop our passports. Talk about cra-zee. Something should be done about this. Maafan le!... There was no traffic all the way there. But was a lil' on the way back as it was the weekend already.

Unfortunately, there were no local fruits at all. Not the season! =( So yea... but I did enjoy all the good food tho'. We had fresh seafood everyday. And pakis, a local vegetable was very common. And I love it. Especially when its fried with belacan. Mmmmm... yum!

I met many kids there. No youths apparently. Very sad. We stayed in this 1 star hotel. It was alright. As long as I had a bed to sleep on and warm water to bathe with, I was a happy girl. teehee! I'm spoilt, I know..

I went to take my A Level Certificates the other day on the way back from KB. Grabbed the yearbook as well and my friend Linie made the front cover! =) Along with my ex-neighbour Nicholas. So cool. hehe.... I appeared in a total of 3 or 4 times in the yearbook if I'm not mistaken. =P

I've been busy with play practices lately. Thats about it. And yesterday I just had the worst cramps ever... cause you know.. it was the time of the month again. Sniffs.. it hurt so bad!! Aunty Alyce was so nice to pamper me a bit with a hot towel as I was hurting on a couch in the office. I was supposed to have my piano and voice lessons yesterday but I could hardly even play anything cause I was so weak and in pain. And so I postponed my voice lessons. Probably to the weekend or something.

I'll be away for a few days. Heading just across the border. Its gonna be a new experience for me cause I've never even been to Limbang or the Kuala Lurah area. At least I don't recall ever going there... I hear that the Durians are great this season. Yes, I do enjoy eating DURIANS. And Tarap!! hehe. I love local fruits. Rambutan, Longan, Langsat... you name it! Yum! I know some may find it disgusting. hehe. I'm looking forward to this trip.

I cut my hair!! Well, trim la. Its still the same length. Just felt like my hair needed a bit touching up as it looks really messy esp with my uneven fringe and all.

KB sleepover was alright... Had the famous Seria kolo mee for breakfast. ;) My main reason for the sleepover was to buy ballet shoes for my dancers and myself for the christmas play. Turned out that the shop that I was told to buy them from didn't have our sizes! All the size 5s and 6-es were sold out! =( Now I have to search elsewhere. Boohoohoo...

Oh yea, I forgot to mention that I bought new sunglasses the other day from Charles & Keith! Yup, thats right! The new addition the the accessories i.e. the sunglasses are already in store and are selling out FAST! One reason being we didn't order many stock as its our first time selling sunglasses. So check them out if you can. =) I like my pair... ;)

Sometimes not being online for a day, seems like not being online for a whole week! Weird I know, but I think I'm just too hooked to the internet sometimes!

I had a BBQ at my house last night. All sorts of meat we had... chicken wings, lambchop, beef, even stingray! Yum! And of course we had many other side dishes to compliment it all. Haven't had a BBQ like that in a long time. My dogs looked so hungry cause they could smell the food.

At one part when I wanted to check whether the chicken wings were cooked yet, I realised that my dog, Dipstick had broken loose from his chain. I gasped and was so shock. You have no idea how fierce he can be especially with strangers. Plus...We had guests over. He has bitten people before ok, including my maid when she first arrived. Luckily Dipstick was obedient last night when my maid tied him up again. hehe...

I'm gonna be in KB for the rest of the evening and also spend the night there. So looks like no internet again......til' tomorrow afternoon of course!

Open my eyes
I want to see Your glory, Your glory Lord
I open my heart
I want to be closer, closer to You

Give me 20/20 Vision Lord!

I really want to write a longg entry, but I have no idea what to blog about.

I just remember an incident on the night I had dinner with the Doulos peeps, my littlest bro, he was on the treadmill at home and he slipped and he cut his toe, quite deep. Needed 4 stitches. This was mainly because he wasn't wearing any sport shoes or even stockings! So this is a lesson to be learnt. Always wear proper gear when exercising!

Today is Nic's 19th bday! And so is it Carrie's 17th18th bdayGod Bless you girls!

Happy 21st Birthday Rachy!

I hope your special day is full of love, fun and laughter.

We've known each other since when? Childhood days have come and gone. And I still don't recall WHY I had to call you Big Rachael. Now, come to think of it, why couldn't I just have called you Che Che Rachael or something? hehe...

We've travelled to loads of different places together already. And each time were just fun, memorable times. Weren't they?

Rachieness & Rachyness sisters for life!

YES! The IELTS exam is finally over for me. Results will be out in like 2 weeks time on the 16th. Funny how its marked soooo quicky...

There were like 3 sections in this part of the exam. The listening, the reading and the writing.

The listening was a bit tough in a way because you had to be really attentive as they only play the conversation/excerpt once! And sometimes they rephrase things in a way that you have to really understand the situation. So it really ain't straight forward. I missed out two answers cause I just really couldn't catch it! I felt like screaming, "Can you repeat that?" So, I just guessed! heheh, hope I guessed correctly. Better than leaving it blank no? Of course I guessed reasonably la!

Then the reading section was more like comprehension structured. All of it was mostly objectives la, which means didn't have to answer questions in long, complete sentences! hehe. The passages to read were pretty long and winded. My gosh!

And for the writing section, there is one analyzing part. This time a map comparison came out. Then, for the discuss part, the topic was whether governments should pay for everyones university course fees. haha, I just blabbed on this one. I added that in Brunei, the government does pay for fees of all its citizens. =D Yay for the government!

And guess what? I was like the youngest candidate in the room! Most people were like working adults. Beats me why they were sitting for the exam. Applying for VISA or maybe even further studies I suppose? =P I never knew that IELTS was an Australian exam. heh! To me, the weirdest part of the whole exam was that we couldn't bring our own stationery or wallets or even car keys into the exam. So like THAT wan ah?

Scooby Scooby Doo where are you?! Even tho' I do see you sometimes wandering the streets of Subok!

p/s: If anyone sees Scooby, wind down your window and tell him I miss him k? You can't miss him, he has a blue collar with yellow rafia string flying around it. And plus he looks like hes wearing white socks on all four feet. hehe. Thanks! ;)

Which means.... only about 2 and a half months left in Brunei.. ='( boohoohoo...!!! I feel like I need more time to prepare myself to leave. Its just so HARD! *sniffs*

I visited the Doulos ship today along with my family. Except for my mom as she had to work. Someone even took us on an inside tour of the ship. It was so cool. The ship has 8 decks all in all.

It is the World's largest floating bookstore... And the books are really cheap and reasonable priced! I bought a book entitled Its not about me by Max Lucado. Can't wait to read it!!

I wanna go for a cruise one day! ~~ Whee!
