Woosh! The Talentime was fantastic! Everything went simply smoothly. Even tho' Acts didn't emerge as 1st overall, we came in first in the group band category. Rich and his band really rocked the house with 'Foxy Lady' and with the smoke effects and the drumline excerpt towards the end of their gig, they just blew the crowd away.

Our drama came last la... the story like no proper ending. But I still enjoyed myself nevertheless thruout the whole night. Acts came in 2nd for the rest of the categories. So that was pretty good ey?

Some ppl were really creative and unique for example the Sapphire play with the funny twist at the end and also the Jasper Creative Arts category with the miming hands in fluorescent light. That was REALLY COOL! ;)

Can't blog much now, have to rush off for a meeting. After a full day out with church and PLK, wah... lihai la going out so much today. Busy schedule... =P

Its great to be back!

@ CnK HeadQuarters...

The new line of sunglasses and belts will be released soon! ;)

They do produce boots but we don't buy them in to Brunei...

CnK male line.. PEDRO!

Found this view ironic...
hahaha... "that one"...

Dinner @ Carnivore and night out at Vivocity!

You see that green and red tab? Thats to tell the chef whether you still want more meat or not. But like whether its facing on the green side or not, they always seem to come and fill our plates. =P
Bread Talk over there in Sg opened up a Cafe called Toast Box where they sell yummy thick toast sandwiches. Look at how many different types of kaya they have? And also the pile of butter. Yes... thats butter. Wonder how many hills of those they use in a day...
Marche yo! The new branch at Vivocity...

What this? Why its a yolk! You know the what the Bible uses open like for e.g. " Do not be unequally yolk with an unbeliever"... yeap! Its what is used on bulls...and whaddaya know they had one in Marche! =P

Vibrant VivoCity...

Tried out the Sushi Tei over there.. Brunei one better... trust me!

Marche at Heeren is now called Village. Its the same concept as Marche... not bad la the food also...

Well seems like I've been travelling since forever. hahah... finally heading back home to Brunei!

And whaddaya know RBA re-timed us! One hour flight delay... tsk...tsk..

Tonight CGLs are having farewell dinner with Joyce, so I guess I'll go for that, if I'm not tired that is...

Its been a great, fun time being able to travel this month, but I think its about time I slow down and have some free time of my own. You know what I mean? I need more sleep too! Have always been on the go..

Monday...
Hung out alone at Raffles City while my dad had a Cfan lunch. Only at night did I get to follow him for the dinner. And... I got to shake Reinhard Bonnke's hand! Well sort of... we were like going up to him to give him our pledges for the China Vision and he blessed us so he put his hand on top of ours when we placed the envelope into his hand. I've talked to him before breifly at last year's Hillsong Conference and took pic with him. =) He shared with us his vision for China. Wow everytime he speaks its just so impacting. The burden is really placed on your heart. So excited to go to China one day for mission trip!

Brunei... I'll be back this afternoon!

Lights, sound and shopping!...

So what have I been up to since Thurs? Well.. on Thurs night Ps.Karen Gan and her husband along with their daughter took me and my dad out for dinner at the new shopping centre called Vivocity. Its huge man.. more retail shopping space than Suntec City. We ate at this Brazilian Churrascaria place called 'Carnivore'. And just like its name suggests, their main course is mainly meat complimented with a buffet-like vegetable section. The way they serve the meat is interesting. Its like a few chefs will walk around with a long, big skewer of a certain type of meat and a carving knife and then slice it onto your plate for you if you fancy it. Fantastic food I must say. Altho' after eating there you don't feel like taking any more meat for the next few days. Hehe..

Then we went for dessert at Haagen Daz or however you spell it. That German ice cream place yea... haha.. We had fondue. My first time actually. It was really really yummy.. MmmMM... And Karen's daughter Liz is so so adorable she's only 5 and she loves Planet Shakers. When we listen to it in the car... wah! She can sing everything word for word and we're talking about songs like Redeemer and Jump Up!

Friday....
Practically hung out with ko Jeremy the whole day. Didn't expect to meet him but I met up with a CHC Cg Leader for lunch at a cafe she works at called POD [People of Destiny] and somehow they connected me with ko Jem so yea. hahah.. small world. So ko Jem was like "taking care of me" for the rest of the afternoon. Went out for dinner that night with Uncle Rhys and his son Josh at Marche! You know all the marche outlets have closed only left with the new one at Vivocity? So sayang and the new branch is so much smaller compared to the one at Heeren and Suntec last time.. Oh wells. Still not bad the food tho'.

Saturday....
Had lunch with Rui Ping at Sushi Tei at Vivocity again. Went to visit CHC in the evening. So cool we got to sit in front because one of Ps.Joseph's CG leaders reserved seats for us. Ps. Kong was delivering God's word and it was awesome. He is doing this series about the Sermon On the Mount and about the Cultural Mandate that the church should have. Very impacting...

Sunday....
As for today, we attended Cornerstone's service. Good to see old friends like Ming Wei. His baby so cuteee... Didn't manage to see any of the youths except for Eunice tho'. Had to rush of for lunch with Ps. Yang. =( Oh well...

Tonight am going out with ko Jeremy and some old family friends. I can't wait to get back home to Brunei already. I kindda had enough of shopping.. hehehe.. overspent! Gosh!

Ashley's 1 month celebration yesterday at Millenium was cool. Many people were invited. Ash is just so so cute la...Poor Nick wasn't feeling well he didn't eat no nothing. He took like one full plate of food and it was untouched and he simply asked the waiter to clear the plate. Such a waste... ah well.. kesian I hope he gets well soon.
Watched Die Hard 4.0 at Empire yesterday with my dad, bros and Darren. The movie was so very interesting. Action packed. Cool. Wish Nick was there tho'. =/ Then we went to exercise at the Country Club. Felt so so weak after playing bball & bowling.

I NEED TO PACK! And soon! Leavin' before lunch time tomorrow. Sigh leaving Brunei and home again and most of all leaving my baby...

Hosanna

by Brooke Fraser

Verse 1:
I see the King of Glory

coming on the clouds with fire
the whole earth shakes
the whole earth shakes, yea...

Verse 2:
I see His love and mercy
washing over all our sin
the people sing
the people sing

Chorus:
Hosanna
Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna
Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest

Verse 3:
I see a generation
rising up to take their place
with selfless faith
with selfless faith

Verse 4:
I see a near revival
stirring as we pray and seek
we're on our knees
we're on our knees

Bridge:
heal my heart and make it clean
open up my eyes to the things unseen
show me how to love like You
have loved me

break my heart for what breaks Yours
everything I am for Your Kingdom's cause
as I walk from earth into eternity

Finally Its Working!

4:29 PM
G'day mate!

Sorry for not updating for the past few days. The internet kiosk here at the hotel was down. =/ It was so upsetting...!

Anyways... the Hillsong Conference is over already. The last few days of the conference were simply awesome. Got to hear Bishop T.D. Jakes preach twice! He mainly preached on Shifting Seasons. On the first night of his preaching, the closing song was 'I Believe I Can Fly'. hahaha it was so ironic but it matched the sermon which was about us being eagles getting rid of our weasels..=D He's so full of power when he preaches man... Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin and Israel Houghton & New Breed performed as well during the Hillsong Nights. They were great!

Every night before the session starts they have this "reality show" called 'The Revelation' featuring Phil Dooley, Sanga and this other lady, forgot what her name was. Its always so hilarious. One night they were celebrating American Day on the 4th of July. They wedded a couple who had been dating for 3 years. They said it was gonna be so REAL it was almost FAKE. I thought it was supposed to be the other way round, so fake that its almost real. But anyways, Sanga was the priest and he was rhyming the whole 'wedding service' haha.. it was so funny! And then the part where he asked the crowd whether anyone objects, no one said anything then suddenly Ps. Brian Houston appears on the large screen behind them saying "I OBJECT!" whilst pointing his finger. SO FUNNY!! They also hit "Glory Balls"(tennis balls in actual fact) to the crowd using a tennis racket every night. If you catch one, you can win free gifts cause on the balls are things written like 'Saviour king CD', or 'Selah (Ps.Brian Houston's book)'. Yeah well that was one of the highlights of the conference.

JAM on the other hand was awesome. On the last day during the multimedia elective, they showed how they used adobe photoshop. I couldn't get it all dow in my head cause it looked so complicated. They were like so pro man! haha... I was like just nodding my head away acting like I understood everything... Oh and oh! they showed the preview of the new Point of Difference video clip for the first time! Its so freaking cool!

My family and I have been busy shopping these past few days. We went to Darling Harbour today. As well as to check out a few houses for me to come and stay here next year. Oh yeah.. I forgot to mention.. I GOT ACCEPTED BY HILLSONGS COLLEGE! =) I'm so happy. God deserves all the glory and praise for this.

Last Sat we went to check out the 'Rocks' place near Sydney's Opera House and Bridge. It was pretty cool, the Italian food there was delicious! And also a few nights ago we ate at LoneStar Steakhouse, the ribs there was YUMMY!

Well thats all I can say for now, I'm enjoying this trip..will post pics up when I get back to Brunei on Thurs which is like in less than 2 days time. Til' then...God Bless!

Break Free

Won't you
Break FREE

get up and dance in His Love...

I'm really enjoying the JAM United sessions more than ever. Its really wild and fun. Yesterday Sam presented the Linkin Park song entitled 'What I've done'. I was kindda surprised that they sang that song in a Christian conference but then when I listen closely to the lyrics, its acutually kindda appropriate. Like today two girls presented the song 'Keep Holding On' by Avril Lavigne. They sang really well. Only Nard and I went to JAM today because the rest of the youths wanted to attend the main session where the overseas invited speakers were preaching.

Today I attended the PK elective which was a exclusive day thing. Darlene's daughter and this other American dude were in charge of this session and it was really helpful as to know that many other PKs share the same things and situations in life as I do. =)

The night session last night was awesome as well as we had Israel Houghton as the guest worshipper and the previous night it was Chris Tomlin and his band. Last night Jentezen Franklin spoke and it was really powerful. God is really speaking thru' each and every of the speakers here at the conference.

As much as I'm enjoying myself here, I also can't wait to get back to home sweet home...

Down Under

2:03 PM
There's Internet Access here in the hotel I'm staying in.. =)

Sydney has been awesome so far. I'm really enjoying myself, but missing back home at the same time....

The Hillsong Conference began with a bang on the evening of 2nd July. The theme this year is 'Amazing Grace'. I was blown away by the opener multimedia presentation as well as the singing and orchestra ensemble. It was magnificent and all really cool.

Brooke Fraser was one of the worship leaders at last night's session. Thats the first time I've seen her live! And of course the usual, Marty Sampson, Joel Houston, Reuben Morgan, Jonathan Douglass, Ben Fielding and the rest of the Hillsong Team were leading the congregation in Praise and Worship. And we've had fab speakers like Ed Young and Ps. Gigglio from the States preaching so far.

Well thats for the night sessions, during the day time the youth head over to Baulkham Hills where the Hillsong Church is and we have JAM UNITED! WOOOO! Its awesome I tell you. The youth here in Oz are Wild! And its packed! Just to get in and out of the hall, you have to push and squeeze your way through.. But I'm still enjoying all of it tho'! heheh... I chose Multimedia as an elective and they've shown us what programs they use and other stuff about how they operate their multimedia in hillsongs. We're divided into 'tribes' for the games. I'm in the red tribe called 'Class '07 ' Green is 'Rep the King', Yellow is 'Heat' & Blue is 'Fanatics'. Their games are really wacky I tell you! Will post up pics when I get to load 'em.

I've bought loads of stuff already just from the conference. Stuff like CDs, shirts... I feel like buying every single thing. But of course that would be impossible. All the things here are really expensive. Take for example, a bottle of water costs $2 Oz. Thats like almost $4 Brunei! And a subway costs like $5 Oz. Talk about costing a bomb...

My family is extending our stay here til' Thurs the 12th of July. So yea.. this means more SHOPPING! But this also means the longer Ireturn home.... =/

Bon Voyage Brunei! This time tomorrow I'll be in Sydney, Australia...!

I don't think I'll be posting any entries til' I get back from my trip. Unless of course I get to stop by a internet cafe or if my dad brings along his laptop {doubt it}...

Last year I attended the hillsong conference, it was awesome and I know it'll be even more awesome this year. Attended the adults sessions last year, but this year I'll be with the Youth in JAM! Whoosh!

I'm leaving on a Jetplane... Airplane....

Gonna miss you. I'll be back soon enough , just to be there in your loving arms
again..
