*Phew*! What a longgggg day! I thought we were supposed to go to AC2 today just to pray. But turns out we moved and shifted half the things there around. It was fun tho' despite the toil and sweat. hehe! ...Amanda tugging away at unused stuffs...


We had to move all the stuff from this corner....to that corner...

Bernard's attempt to open a locked door with a 20 cent coin...--which actually worked!

Its a busy busy day ahead for me so I'm just gonna make an entry now...

The doctor said that my blood test and urine test results were fine and in normal range. So there is absolutely NOTHING to worry about! Praise God!

Went to school to do this 'Path Finders' thingy so that I can find out what course is best for me to take in Uni. It was really useful. And I think I have a rough idea of what I want to do now. But whether or not the Uni can accept me with the grades I have is a whole 'nother question.

The day started off at JIS. Had a short discussion with Mrs Isaac on my plans about further studies. All of which is still in deep thought. I mean I do know what I want to do. But whether the Unis will accept me for the course is another thing. I was thinking of Animation and Multimedia as its something I'm interested in but then again I've been a Science student all my life and I've never done anything with Design Technology or Art. Bummer!

I went for AMBUYAT again today with Tiny and her sis! Think that might be last time I'm gonna hang with her before she leaves to Kent. =/ And and.. I forgot to take pics =( Oh man...Sniffs... After the ambuyat meal, we browsed around a $2.99 shop. Its pretty cool you know. I mean they sell a wide range of STUFF including keychains, cooking utensils, all sorts of boxes, lamps, even Esprit clothes that are now out of fashion--but at a ridicolously cheap price! Never knew Esprit was sold in Brunei! hehehe.. And and.. not forgetting the really neat Ikea inventions here and there.
Went for a facial after that. And oh! Bought Pongo, my dalmatian, a new red collar too. He derserves one.
Looks good on him no? (Sorry a bit dark!)

Then in the evening, went to AFC for thanksgiving dinner for Sapphire HG. They are this year's Talentime Champions folks! Due to some reasons, they are the official CHAMPIONS! Their skit was simply awesome and really sent the crowd laughing away. So last night was the official handing over of the trophy and everything. And as usual when Bruneians meet up, we MAKAN! hehe..

Then we watched the Talentime DVD, well only the Sapphire performances la. hehe.


And the best part was I got to spend time with my sayang today =) NDRD to infinity and beyond

Haven't played badminton in a while. Wah... I think I pulled my arm muscles man. Didn't stretch! Serves me right huh? And both my bros kicked both my dad and my ass. They are wicked at badminton. Didn't realise that. heheh..We played at Empire Country Club. And even after a full game. I wasn't sweating! teehee.. maybe I wasn't running around enough! =P I guess you can say I'm bad at bad-minton! hahaha...

Dave decided to play basketball ON HIS OWN after that. hahah.. funny la that guy. Shoot some hoops and act pro! Okay la he is PRO. =)
Had worship practice after that for like half an hour only. Record time man! Whooshh...!
Ate Jap food at Sushi Tei after that. Thats like my 3rd time eating Jap food in 2 Weeks! Hehe...Getting kindda sick of it. But never sick of my Enoki Battayaki! Yum YUMM...!

But the real question is, what do you live for everyday? Is it just for the sight and sounds of this earth. Theres gotta be more to life. Shouldn't you be living for the One who created this Earth? The One who paid the price and who gives the grace to us, a people undeserving.

So... where do I begin? Oh! Right! The blood re-take went alright. Finally...! that was like the THIRD time I went to have my blood taken this week ya know! And now the hole on my arm is really noticable! =/

Acts was alright today not as many people cause its ass.tests season. But nevertheless the Treasure Finders were there full of vibe. ;)

Tomorrow I'm going to check out more info about further studies in Aussie.

All Your Promises

There was a rainbow over my house yesterday and it was such an amazing sight! =) I even managed to take a panaromic shot of it. It reminds me that All God's Promises won't let go of me...



The Rainbow in the sky tells us that God's Promises are true...

So I went for my check up today at JPMC. Well it was more of a blood and urine tests. I Thank God in advance for the results from the test.

For me taking blood is not a very simple routine as I have really teeny tiny veins. So they are hard to find. Therefore I kindda hate having my blood taken. In RIPAS they jab the needle here and there hoping its the right place where the vein it. Sakit tu! =/ Thank God that the nurse that attended to me was a Christian and her name was Mercy. She sure did have mercy on me when she took my blood. hehe.. =) Oh and apparently she knew my dad. Good thing too. hehe.. She managed to find my vein in in one shot! Sweet...and it didn't hurt as much as usual. but now my left arm has this noticable hole cause the needle today was inserted into the exact same place as when I had my blood taken on Tues. Oh wells..!

The only thing was they had to take 4 tubes of blood off me! FOUR you know! No joke! The worst part was my blood was flowing sooooo slowlyyyy until towards the end when things speeded up a bit. Thank God again!

After that I went to JIS hoping to take the exam result slips but apparently they are not given out yet. So like I have to faithfully return next week. I dropped by into my physics teacher's office to say hello. I'm so relieved that he did not bomb me for getting low grades. Instead, he gave me a friendly greeting and asked about my further studies---well which was not exactly the best topic to touch on either but I'm glad he was concerned. I'm really grateful for all hes done for me and how hes been such an encouragement over the 2 years in A Level. Especially when he knew I was really weak in the subject. Without him, I don't think I'd even be able to scrape a pass for Physics.

Tonight I've got HG again. I'm gonna just relax and chill for the rest of the day I guess. Oh and also try to practice my keyboard piece for the upcoming recital. Oh, oh! and also try and choreograph steps for the dances. hmmm...

Okay I must have watched Just Follow Law like 6 times already! I think I can hardly laugh at some scenes already. =P But we just decided to watch it again last time since some people have not watched it yet.

Ps. Chris Long and his family came over yesterday as hes in Brunei for short hols. A few of the CGLs also came. And it was great to meet his family once again. His children all so grown up now. Met them only once before, so you can imagine the difference.

Going for lunch with them again today at Kaizen. Jap food! =) Yumm... I do need something to cheer me up after the past few days that I've been thru'.

Went for a checkup at JPMC this morning cause my parents think I've been losing weight. When I gain weight, they complain, when I lose weight pun worried. Apala! Hehe... but they are PARENTS afterall. Overconcerned people..hehehe.. Even the doctor seemes to think I'm fine and that my weight is ideal. My BMI is normal, so she said theres nothing to worry about. But my parents want to double check to make sure that everything is fine... I'm gonna have to do yet ANOTHER blood test tomorrow. =/

I actually thought that things would simmer down and run smoothly after my results were out as I've already secured my place in Hillsong next year. But now... sigh... looks like everything is getting even more complicated! =/ Whats happening?!

I'm even a but blurr even on my situation cause I feel like I don't know what to do. All I can do now is just continue to seek God for His wisdom. To find a right Uni course. I really do want to go to Hillsong but if thats not whats for me, then let it be.....

It just can't get anymore complicated than it is right now! It can't possibly..

Today's the usual voice and keyboard lessons. Recital's in 2 weeks! Am I prepared? Errr...no...

Shaun turns 16 today. Yesterday we has a lil' celebration with him at his crib. It was fun, watching them experiment with mentos and coke. Play with water guns... watch a movie or 2. heheh..

It was also my first time at Nick's place yesterday as his mom invited me over. Its a longggg story and I malas explain here. hehe.. But Nick was surprised to see me. He didn't expect to see me at his house. haha you should have seen the look on his face! His house is not bad. Didn't get to see the whole of it tho' but I will one day. hehe.. His dog, Duke, is so cute. A lil' naughty as well, keeps on getting into mischievious things.

Today is PLK and CS again. I'm in the worship team tonight and gonna help out at PLK again today.

Okay okay so everyone's been asking how did my result go...

Well it wasn't up to my expected predicted grades(BCD). =/

B for Maths
D for Computing
E for Physics

overall...

So yeah, I was kindda upset at first and blamed myself for everything. But I learned that I should just Praise God. Praise God that I did not fail. We should praise God in every circumstance. Whether it be good or bad. Simply because He deserves all honour and praise.

Now as for Uni applications, I dunno what to do. Since I'll be taking a year off next year to be at Hillsongs, I still have a bit of time to think about it. But I believe that God will make a way. And He will fulfill His purpose for me. Amen! =)

God I know that You are going to see me thru' all of this. And I believe that You are able to make a way. I will STILL LOVE YOU IN EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE

Went to Ko Nick's house last night to preview the moviee thats gonna be shown in HG and Acts this week. It was really moving but somehow I didn't cry. Well one reason was because Ko Nick kept on making up punch lines that cracked us up during the moving parts. hehe... So maybe on thurs I'll shed a tear? The overall storyline of the movie is REALLY good!

Okay... so whats lined up for me today? I've got my usual keyboard and voice lesson. Then prayer meet.

I'm craving for Ambuyat again. Maybe will go and makan with Ling tomorrow since shes been craving for it too. My childhood best friend Krystle is in town as well. So I might go out with her and JC soon too. Can't wait to see her!

PLK went great yesterday. The P&W went well. *Phew* it was exhausting okay... with all the actions going on all at once. The kids are sooooo hyper... I lost my breath singing the songs half way! heheh... The new song I introduced entitled 'Supernatural' went ok I guess except that I think the verses were a bit too fast for the kids to catch up with. But its a new song, so its expected... once they get used to it, it'll all be fine. =) They really enjoyed the chorus part where its just jumping up and down and pumping fists into the air. hahaha.. Oh and the best part was I managed to convince and drag Nick and Wei Jin (a.k.a. Eugene) to help out with the actions on stage. heheh... the "kokos"... =P

Then CS at night was great too with a great message. Had supper at Gripps. hehe managed to convince my dad to take me! My mom didn't want to take me 'cause she had to send my bros home as they had school the next day. But in the end they joined us for supper cause when they arrived home they didn't have the gate key! hahaha... it was with my kung-kung who hadn't arrived home yet. Told her to listen to me! hehe..

I'm so excited for December. For one thing, it'll be my 18th birthday. I'll be in Miri during that time for Freshwinds again like last year hehe.. And for another thing it'll be my sayang's birthday. But most of all... it'll be Jesus' birthday! =D And this year we'll be doing a small Christmas play entitled 'The Promise'. We did it several years back in '95 and '97 if I'm not mistaken! It is a very impacting play. Now we have to recruit the cast members and dancers. Even tho' it may not be a very modern play, it'll be interesting as it takes us back to Bible Times. And rehearsing it over and over again will be fun Fun FUN! =)

I'll never be able to fit in KB town, its just too lifeless =P hehe...

The Thai food yesterday was yummy... Esp the Green Curry Chicken and Pandan Chicken. Yummm...

Last night I went to Uncle Paul's house to play pictionary. Was supposed to go to Mel's house to visit them cause the grandma just passed away (may she Rest in Peace) but my daddy didn't allow me. So yea...he didn't want me to be there. =/

Pictionary was pretty fun nevertheless playing with the uncles and aunties. And my popo sure cracked things up! =P hahah... Jasper and Emerald people were mainly there. Then after that me, Viv, Abi, my bros and my dad went to the mall to watch Rush Hour 3. Wooo! it was so funny... I love rush hour 1, 2 and 3 now! hehhee.. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan make a good team! =D

oh! oh! I got a hair cut too in KB. I almost forgot to mention! =P

Today there's PLK and CS again. =) I'll be leading worship in PLK. First time! heheh.. Gonna teach new songs.

I cannot tahan laughing last night!

I ran the face recognition thing for celebrity lookalikes for my mom, dad and Nick. And the outcome was so hilarious.

They said that my dad looks like Jay Chou, Bow Wow and Dr. Dre! hahahah...

As for my mom it was Courtney Cox! and i didn't know who the rest were.

Then they said Nick looks like Yao Ming?! I was like what.. got to be kidding. And also Ricky Ullman the guy who plays Phil of the future! haha that one I can understand but Yao Ming... hello...? hahaha...

Okay well I'm gonna be at home the whole day except for tonight going for HG. We'll be finishing off the Positioning Yourself to Prosper series. I enjoyed it! Hes so funny and very impacting.

Yesterday I found new buddies to eat ambuyat with! =) namely Di, Nard, Chris and Tyng (who only eats anything but the ambuyat) like the Belacan kangkong, the beef tumis thing, Fried fishy..



We finished EVERYTHING even with 2nd orders... All the plates were empty... Muahaha..

Had voice and keyboard lessons yesterday too. Been preparing my pieces for the upcoming recital in September. Scary.. I've never actually played in a recital. Sung...maybe once when I was in Expression. hehe...
Today I've got an extra voice lesson to attend to. Been working on the songs 'Hero' and 'Reflection'. If you want my opinion, Reflection is so much easier to sing than Hero! Cause Hero has a few extremely high parts...

Don't you just miss the days when you had kiddy birthday parties and you would hand out goodie bags full of choc and red eggs and keropok to everyone.... =)

Chris' celebration brought back memories.. Fortunately my fave keropok brand 'Double Decker' has come up with a new addition to their legacy of snacks. Its called "Roasted Chicken". At first I was like.. sounds interesting. Must try! It was so hard for myself to get my hands on one cause it was a rule that it had to be CHILDREN FIRST that day. So I waited patiently for my turn..

Finally when I got one and opened it. Wow.. it tasted so good! The lil' keropok were shaped as lil' drumsticks and stars if I were not mistaken.. But it was so salty and I like salty. More like excess of Ajinamoto (or however you spell it!) if you asked me.

I'm glad he likes the control car we got him. He so cute la going around with a sack of toffee offering people some last night at CS. So cutee..hehe.

Ate a late supper at iLotus [like for the hundredth time this year] last night. But I was so hungry so anything just satisfied my stomach by that time! heh!

Yay Chris Long coming soon! And Friendship Connection Week is coming up too! Woosh!

Ahhh... now I havo to wait til' thurs before I can see my baby againz. Its worth
the wait I tell you! True love waits.. ;)

Okay ever since I heard the Mika song entitled Love Love Me as an advert on Star World [I know I'm outdated with songs..] I kindda got hooked onto it. Esp when I heard the whole entire song in the taxi that I sat in when I arrived in Singapore. I don't why its so addictive. Its not that I WANT to like it. Its just that it has that effect on people you know?
Even my bro said that someone in UK got hypnotised by it and went insane singing it or something. Don't know how true la...hahah. But seems silly tho'!

Oh and last night we had a Dim Sum feast at Dynasty after the SM. Yum yum! We conquered all the Siew Mai! woohooo!! My tummy was so crying out for food after the SM. I just had to eat something. So Krystal invited us to join them for Dim Sum...

Thats the way Des! Take ALOT at once! =P


So November... Bangalore here I come? Still thinking about it. Been wanting to go for like years now... Now I'll finally get the chance. So hopefully.

Today is basically PLK then CS tonight. And today is Chris' 7th bday! Gonna celebrate in PLK.

My first time leading worship in a longgg time yesterday... It went well. PRAISE GOD!

Been having vocal and keyboard lessons more often now to fill in my holiday time..

Ps. Paul is here for the weekend to share God's word with us. We're going to "A Whole 'Nother Level..." Amen!

The movie yesterday was ALRIGHT it wasn't all that if you know what I mean...I'm not a huge fan of the Simpsons. Never watch the show anyways. Just went out so that I could hang with my gang of friends before they leave to UK. Well most of them at least.

My schedule today is pretty light, prayer meet this afternoon and HG tonight. Thats basically it. So yea. Can't wait to see you know who... ;)
