Before you ask, no I didn't go to the Orange County. haha. It was better, it was the Oceania Convention 2009! Woots! 4 days and 3 nights of being Empowered by the Holy Spirit!! =D It was about a 1 and a half hours drive to Philip Island. We stopped at San Remo for lunch. Fish and Chips!
We (well actually Uncle Peng) saw the feeding of the Pelicans!
Nasty Sea Gulls who try to steal our fish and chips.
The scenery was beautiful at San Remo, and some people were enjoying Jet Skiing

At CYC, we stayed in Cabins. I was with 9 girls in lodge 5. We had a common bathroom, toilet and sink area.

Some people were more adventurous and stayed in tents.
They had to use these as toilets and bathrooms. They're hired!

On the 1st night we had Fish and Chips (yes, again) for dinner and then Apple Crumble for dessert! One of the best I've had.

There was an opening ceremony with fab dances and skit.

My cabin consisted of bung beds. 4 in total with one having a double bed on the bottom.

Tea Break!

I went to an afternoon workshop called 'Healing Past Hurts'.

Camp Hoodies! Empowered By The Spirit.

During the free time, I decided to be a little daring and go on the Flying Fox.

Being instructed on how to put on the thingy.

It looks a looooong way up, it really is.

All the way to down there.
I watched the 1st two people go first before I made up my mind.

All strapped up and ready to go
My partner was Shaun, haha!

The daring group.
And up I go!

I think the most scary part was climbing up.
Almost there!

Magnificent view from the top

And here I go....! It was so much fun and the whole 30 seconds (or less) was exhilarating.

This is the Giant Swing, which I didn't dare to go on. Its crazy!

Tiff (my guardian's daughter) went on it. I salute her. =D

Me and Matt

Josh, fav line : "I LIKE RICE"
