Happy but sad at the same time

Okay... where to begin? Hmmm.. lets start with the good news first..

I GOT ACCEPTED INTO MONASH! Yipeee! Don't have to think about applications no more. I applied for the Bachelor of Information Technology course with major in Information Systems. And I needed 8 points to get ont the course and with my results from A Levels, I only had 7 points. But... they have offered me to go for the Monash Uni pathway. Which means I do two semesters in Monash College then I immediately head on to my second year in Uni. So in other words I don't waste any years at all. Plus in this package, the fees are cheaper and I get more help from my tutors in the first year. =) Thank You Lord! Now to concentrate on my Visa. Medical check up was done this morning. I think I have to visit the Radiologist tomorrow to take an X-Ray. mm...

Now for the bad news-es.. Plural wah! =P

My dog scooby, ran away. I saw him on the road near the rubbish dump in Sungai Akar on wed as my car drove by. My dad didn't want to stop and pick him up. I knew it was him because of the blue collar he was wearing and the yellow rafia string that my maids tried to tie him to the gate with (which obviously didn't work---like hello! His metal chain broke, in case you were wondering). I think thats the last I will ever see of him. But in my mind I have this wild, crazy idea that if I stand somewhere in that area where I last saw him and call him, he will come running happily to me. Sigh~ had him for too long now.

The other bad news is I'm grounded for a month! =( For something I didn't do. But my dad said this isn't the first time, so he's still mad at me. Sigh~ And my phone is barred. My dad ain't gonna pay the bill. Will only get an Easi SIM card when I leave to Oz in Jan by the looks of it.

Speaking of leaving to Oz, my dad has already booked the flight on the 25th of Jan so looks like I'm leaving on that night. It'll be a 11pm flight. So I guess anyone who wants to see me off can come round 8/9pm. Its a school night....Bummer! I wish it wasn't... so that more of my mates could come and see me off.. =( Its gonna be SO HARD to leave Brunei. My home country, the place I grew up in.
