I'm so happy that I didnt have to do swimming for today. For a girl's personal reasons... you know.. But that doesnt mean that I'll never have to swim. there will come a day when I really have to. heheh...

I helped out in reception(higher than kindi) today with the lil' kids. They are all so cute. Every single one of them with a different distinct personality. I even got to read a book to them. It was a Postman Pat book about time. hehe it felt really good to read to them and all of them keen to listen to what I'm gonna say next. So cute! They were concentrating on the topic of 'time' today and so they like had to cut out and make clocks and know how to adjust the time on the clock. =)

Our PJC Virtuoso Music School is finally gonna open soon! I think working days for them start tomorrow but ppl are already signing up. This is what I've been waiting for ever since august last year. I always anticipated the day that my dad and his friends would own a music school and that I could go there anytime I wanted to chill and play music. Music is one of my passions and I love to sing, play the piano/keyboard as well as keen on learning the violin. I can play a tiny bit but I havent touched my violin in a while so yeah I dont know whether I can still remember anything. hehe...

I have maths homework to complete tonight. And of course the computing project for which I might have to stay back after school for help from my teacher tomorrow.

Today was the day I HAD to get back to school. Its been a while since I've actually gone to school to learn something new. hehehe.. And that time has arrived.

My first two periods today were study periods so yeah I chilled a bit whilst trying to do a bit of Mechanics since I missed the whole first chapter of it during last week. We are already gonna have a test on it this Friday! Ahhh...

And Physics... this whole thing about finding the speed of one electron is driving me nuts. I mean whats the hooha about it anyway? We know the speed... isnt that good enough? Must we really know how to derive it and all the ways of doing so? heheh.. okay I'm getting a bit worked up here.

And as for Computing, we are on the topic Networking now. But on top of that I have to finish my Design section for computing by this coming Monday!

Many deadlines to meet, a test to prepare for, and I also have to worry about having Swimming for PE this Wed. Man...

Back from KK

That was a great short break that I had. Yes I know I haven't been to school for the past week and I have stuff to catch up in school. Hopefully its all good. The first thing Dez told me when he saw me was that I missed 2 chapters of physics and that they have started Mechanics in Maths already. Man! And then something he held caught my eye. A brand new VAIO! wow... hes so blessed to get the new model. Its kindda small to me tho' but it sure looks cool.

Okay back to my vacation story. So firstly my grandad and I arrived there on tues evening. The flight was so short man! I mean you when you take off the seat belt sign is on. Then it goes off when you are cruising smoothly in the air. You look around and out the window for a bit. Close your eyes for a while then the next thing you hear is the annoucement that you are landing. And the seat belt sign comes on again. I mean it was practically a 20 min flight. I never tried travelling to KK by car. So yeah.. forgive me if i'm complaining the trip is short. We stayed at the Pacific Magellan. The hotel was kindda bustling with ppl because the hotel was hosting the APAC conference this year or something like that.

That night we went for a seafood dinner by the river. And the food was greeeeat.. so fresh and yummy. There was a tribal, local dance performance. You know like the bamboo dance and some other stuff. And I think the male dancers were supposed to represent the native headhunters because Sabah ppl were originally headhunters heheh.. They kept on making weird shouts and noises when they danced. Trust me, my bros and I could not abstain ourselves from giggling here and there. It was rather amusing. When we returned back to the hotel, we played a lil' scrabble and watched a bit of 'Faulty Towers'

WEDNESDAY... We went snorkelling at Pulau Manukan which was a short boat trip away from the hotel itself. The weather was perrrfect. Not a too hot and no rainy clouds were in sight. And the water was so clear. The fish were so cute and colourful. Didn't manage to touch any tho. They were simply too fast. We didn't snorkel in deep water, just at the shallow end. It was fun all the same. And then we had a good lunch on the island as well. I had chicken rice =P and yeah the breeze was blowing. It was all so nice. In the afternoon I took a nap because I was so tired after the long morning. At night we went to eat at a chinese restaurant called 'King Hu'(funny name) which has one of the best Peking Duck in town. The food was simply scrumptious. And I enjoyed dining there. That night we spent time seeking God and fellowshiped together. And we also watched some more of 'Faulty Towers' after that. Man that John Cleese guy is really funny. He always cracks me up.

THURSDAY.. This was the day I was waiting for because it was the day that I could go SHOPPING!!!! heheh... I didn't buy alot of things but I sure did spend a fair bit. Esprit, Mango, Roxy, Quiksilver you name it. It was there for the trying and taking but it was all so expensive so I had to watch my expenditure. But I guess you can say that I'm satisfied with the things I bought. hehe.. Since CNY is around the corner Warisan Square was having this 'Ang Pow Dip' thing whereby whenever you enter a shop, they let you draw out a card and sometimes it says '25%' or '18%' and stuff like that and then whatever you buy from that shop will have that amount of discount off. And when you spend our $100 in one single receipt, you get to spin and win. Its like a wheel of fortune but it has names of various stores and whatever store you land on when you spin it, you get money vouchers or discount vouchers. Its like their way of making you shop even more! hahaha...We had lunch at 'Secret Recipe' because we got so many vouchers for that cafe from spinning the wheel. And then we went back to the hotel to rest a while then off to the aiport. We were too early to check in at the airport so we went to KFC to eat something. hehe.. the flight back felt even shorter then the flight there!

And well even tho' it was a short holiday, I enjoyed it very very much. Thanks to my daddy who planned it all out. <3>

Yes yes YES! Exams are finally over for me. The last Physics paper was really tough I have to admit.. but I tried my best. So now I'm just gonna leave the rest to God. I mean even my maths teacher said it was hard ok.

And I'm heading for KK tomorrow. Woohoo... can't wait. My dad an bros left already so I have to go with my grandad tomorrow.

Oohh i'm so glad that Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-0 on saturday. Did I mention that it was my parents 18th anniversary on that day as well? We went to Charcoal to eat. hehe... Here's the bouquet of roses that my dad bought for my mom aww...

I'm just gonna chill tonight with my mom. I think we're going out for dinner and maybe watch a movie.

Okay I think I have like studied and revised and practiced so much maths that I can't take in any more already! Exam's in less than 4 hours.

Why do I still feel butterflies in my tummy?

Man can't wait for tomorrow night. All the performances and stuff. And my mummy's dancing. Some line dance. Should be cool. I kindda saw it already but i dont mind watching again. X29 is performing 'Sway' by the pussycat dolls and some other ppl are doing indian dances, hawaiian dances and even cha cha by the chinese ministry. This really gotta be interesting.

I really can't wait for my exams to be over. Then I'm free. And going to chill in KK for a few dayss... wheee.... Man I just wish my last exam could start earlier and finish earlier so that I can leave with my dad. Sigh. Ah well.. at least I still get to go the next day.

My bros and I have a friend, Isaac, over. And they ordered pizza. Half honey garlic and half BBQ meat lovers. Looks like I'm gonna have a slice. I mean I did help to call Pizza Hut ok so I do deserve a lil' something. >< hehe.. Well.. yea gonna indulge now. Byebye..

Man... I have a maths exam later at 9pm tonight. Looks like I'm gonna miss Ps. Yang's message. Ps. Paul was great. He talked about how to finish well in life. In the way that we should live a balanced life and so on...

So I have mastered differentiation, integration and logs already. So I guess you can say I'm prepared for my maths exam.

American Idol has began. They started showing the auditions in Minneapolis. It was so funny. There was this guy dressed up in an American flag bathrobe and top hat. And he sang an oreo song in Italian. The judges said that they were confused cause he wore such an outfit singing opera. hahah.. and yea one or two made it through. I didnt watch the whole show tho'.

So yea i'll blog again later. wish me the best for my maths exam! I so want an A again! =)

Wow... and I do mean wow... Ps. Chris Long's message was totally awesome. And he really cracked everyone in the hall up last night with his jokes. Man hes real funny. But not only were his jokes were good. His message was impacting. The hall was packed with over 170 ppl. Wow... and Aaron even dressed up his best for God. I'm impressed. =) There was an altar call and even with 4 pastors praying for them it took a long time. hehehe... Too bad ps. Chris cant stay for the gala night.

He did confirm that Mike G. from Planet Shakers has leukemia. Man, poor guy...God bless him! I pray he gets better soon. I pray tha God's mighty hand will be with him.

I had dinner with the speakers after the meeting. And the food was so good, I was so full. 2 more days to gala night and counting...

Will be practising more maths and revising a lil' Physics today..

I'm leaving my house any minute now for the special meet with Chris Long. And its only 3 days to go the Gala Night. Can't wait! I've spent my whole afternoon doing Maths. And a bit revision of Physics especially on the topic of Fusion and Fission. Calculating Binding Energy and stuff like that.

I just can't wait for the exams to be over. Then i can relax a bit more. hehehe... well I'd better end this post here.

Oh my gosh! I can't believe that the computing paper was so much better than I expected. I mean I was so worried that it would be freakin' hard. And plus I didn't have to be quarantined in the end. I went straight away to the special meeting. The Lord is good..!

Joey Zabarte spoke on the topic Seize the Moment. I must admit his slideshow was really good. Modern fonts and pictures.. I think it blew people away. But its not only the slideshow that was great. The message was great too. Not only was it funny, it really spoke to us. We have to make things happen. WE have to know that God has already given us the green light and all we have to do is just go. Whether it be missions or business deals. It is already there for us for the taking.

It was good to see him again. Can't wait to hear Chris Long speak tonight. Too bad he can't stay on for our gala night due to his schedule with the Planet Shakers.

I'll be indulging myself with some maths papers today. Is indulging even the right word to use? hahah.. anyway yeah will be revising maths today for my exam on thurs. So thats 3 down and 2 to go!

This spaghetti sure is good. Even tho its not with tomato sauce, its fried with soya sauce. still really yummy tho'!

Only about 3 hours to go to my exam. Am I nervous? erm a bit... Am I ready for it? I'd like to think so. heheh... I'm so happy. My dad just confirmed with me that we are definitely going to KK after my exams for a short getaway. Yipee...

And guess what? My bro, Josh, just got a call from Empire Cinema. You see not long ago when my bros when to watch 'The Curse of the Golden Flower', he entered himself to a lucky draw competition where the grand prize is an Ipod Nano. And yup you've guessed it.. he is one of the finalists for the competition out of 600 ppl who entered. But its not over yet... he has to trot down to Empire Cinema on friday for the final draw. Oh I so hope that he wins the Ipod Nano.

You see I kindda gave my Ipod Mini because of a little pact that we made with each other. But if he gets a brand new Ipod Nano then I'll get my Ipod Mini back. Not saying that I wouldn't prefer an Ipod Nano tho'! Hehhe... Well I hope you really get it Josh!!

Its a new day..

Okay I woke up pretty late today since it being an exam day for me. Just woke up like half an hour ago. Planned to wake up much earlier around 9am but I failed in waking up when my alarm buzzed.

So yeah today I sit for my computer resit paper. I do need a lil' more revising which I am gonna do straight after I finish this entry. I spent my last hour last night before I slept watching a series called 'Faulty Towers'. Haven't heard of it? Okay it may be a classic 80s or 70s show but it sure cracks me up. If you want to know what I'm actually talking about you should get your hands on the series on DVD.

Joey Zabarte will be in town today. Yay.. haven't seen him since last year. I love it when he speaks God's word. He also reminds me of Joey from F.R.I.E.N.D.S at times. Funny that... And when he is introduced in a service hes always introduced as 'already married!' Maybe its because people say he is good-looking. He is half-Spanish anyway.

Okay I revised my computing and a bit of maths C3. Tomorrow's computing and i hope I'm ready. I still have the whole day of tomorrow to revise. And then my exam is at night at 710pm. And then I'm quarantined for 20 mins. Don't know why. but yea... til 9pm then only I can go home. or maybe even drop by the special meet. =)

Today's CS was awesome. The hall was filled with over 160 people. A whole new experience. Norman Holmes was over speaker today and he talked about us being a Joseph church. Don't understand? Sorry I can't explain all of it down here... But its bascially us as a church being a church that is a storehouse of blessings to others after we have gone thru all the sufferings and stuff.

We also viewed our church's 1st anniversary slide from 5 years back. Oh those were the days. I can't believe time flew so fast. Bernard looked to "young" then. hahah..I'm just so thankful for what the Lord has done in my life and in our church for all these years. All honour goes to Him!

I've been typing up notes and staring at them for the past 1 and a half hours. Nothing seems to be going in so I thought I'd take a break. My dad is taking away nasi lemak from Easy Way for me and my bro. And of course not forgetting my green tea with rainbow jelly...Yum! You can never get enough of easyway! <3 Easyway.

Tonight ko Jeff and Rach are having another reception at Emipire Hotel. And I can't go...! Cause I have to study of course! at least I went to one right? Well this one is more for young people. Dancing and stuff.. get the pic? Wish I could be there... but can't.

Tomorrow's CS has a changed venue... ooh.. this is so gonna be exciting. Bigger location although its kindda far out from town, it'll do. =) I was supposed to play keyboard but since I'm having exams...I'm not. Oh well... I'll be handling multimedia then.

I wish I could just fly away to a place of full relaxation....

I still have 3 more papers to sit for on 3 separate days. Next up is my module 1 computing resit which is based on Computer systems, programming and Network Concepts. So basically I'm basically gonna focus on that the whole day today. I have a revision class for Maths tomorrow after church service. Which is a good thing so I can brush up on my maths a bit more.

I'm watching Mythbusters on Discovery channel now... They are trying to prove that cars cna be started up by using Hydrogen gas. Or even by cooking oil?! I dunno.. And another one they are trying to prove is that herbicides can make your pants blow up. And that one is actually true. Interesting....

I hope I don't drive myself crazy memorising all my terms for computing. haha..

I know that I should be in bed by now. but... I'm just so glad the the hard part is over...! yes... i can relax a bit now..

Overall I can say that both papers were easier than the first time that I sat for them. Hopefully this time I will get better grades. Then my AS Level overall grade will be higher as well.

Anyway, my brain is exhausted n' like I said I should be sleeping now. I won't have to sit for another exam this late at night again. Thank goodness. Goodnight everyone... or should I say good morning? ^^

Yes! Stats is finally over.... Doesn't mean it was dead easy tho'. I didn't know how to answer some questions of which I think I now know how to answer. heheh.. Overall I think I'm gonna get a B. but an A would really be nice. duhh...

I did my best now I'm leaving the rest to God. I know that particle physics can be tough but I'm gonna get thru' it! I know I am!

I'm just calming myself down for my Physics now. I believe I can do it. Then why am I still so nervous? I need to kill and get rid of this Goliath.

The day is dawning

Well this is it. Today is the day that I'm to sit for my first exams. Man I have to miss Acts. But they are still gonna give Dalvina her surprise belated cake. I hope she will be surprised. Oooh guess what? I managed to go for the wedding reception last night. =) It was great. Filled with ballet performances by D*motion studio and card tricks by Nick Lim. Haha.. I was actually amazed by them. Didn't know he was such a magician. Oh and who knew that Charlotte would be one of the ballet dancers? She was fantastic.

Rachel looked lovely in her gowns and ko Jeff well he was just ko Jeff looking good in everything he wears hehe.. I met Kevin, my ex-JIS mate. I even almost unsure his name. He still looks the same. Couldn't even believe that he was chosen to be one of Jeff's best men. I also acquainted with many of my aunties and uncles of whom I don't think I have ever met. The slide shows of their pictures were great. Very well done. The flower arrangements last night were great too.

They showed the video clips of the groom picking the bride in the morning full of tests they have to pass and stuff and also of the church wedding. So sweet coz when ko Jeff picked Rach up at her house, he cried when he saw her cause he was so happy and then everyone around sniffled too.
And there is like a group of relatives from Kuching and Limbang of which some dropped by my house this morning. I think they wanted to check out our house?!?

So anyway... first up is Stats and then its Particle Physics. I'm gonna do some last minute reading of my work now. Today's papers will be finish at around 10.30pm. Wish me the best!

I finally learnt how to make the taped photo effect yesterday using Adobe Photoshop. Check it out! Not bad huh? I have been wanting to do this since ever.

Anyway... I have done a fair bit for Statistics revision and also have eaten my lunch already. I have to revise more later tho'. Standard deviation, probability and hypothesis testings are overwhelming let me tell you. If you don't do A Level Maths you're a lucky one. Its not that I hate it or anything. Its just that some parts are tough thats all. Who ever said that everything in life is easy anyway right?

My papers tomorrow are in the evening. The Particles one is at 9.30pm! 1 hour paper lagi. weird? Its because we have to sit our papers at the same time that the students do in the UK. You know like to avoid cheating and what not. So yeah....

I really hope I am able to go for the wedding tonight. Pleeeeeaasseee let me daddy....

Today's the wedding of my "cousin-uncle" Jeff and Rach. Don't they look cute together? They've been dating for like 10+ years and today finally they are going to be wedded. Congrats ko! I'm missing the church wedding which will be in half and hours time. man...

Oh btw I didn't go to school today. My dad said it was no use and it was better if I stayed home to do self-revision. I'm gonna focus on Stats today. I can't believe that its already tomorrow that exam starts. If I study alot this morning and afternoon then maybe my dad might just allow me to attend the night reception. Yay! I don't want to miss that out!

Today, the sixth form was totally deserted. The year 12s started their study leave, some year 13s also took study leave cause they are doing re-sits and some naughty year 13s also declared their own "study leave". So yeah... there you go. There were only like 4 of us in computing. And some ppl skived maths and computing so yeah. They just came to school to do own study. Silly right? Mind as well stay at home.

I found out that we're doing swimming in P.E. from next week onwards. I dun wan! I dislike swimming let alone in school with coaching and what not. Eeeeyerrr... why do we have to do it! Our maths class=our swimming class and most of them are not even gonna do it. So why should I?

Just another school day in JIS. No homework for me. Yay! Thats simply because we're mostly doing revision. Either that or its computing coursework. My maths teacher offered to give us, those who are resiting statistics an extra class. Good thing too, I need the help! Stats is definitely one paper that I'm not fully prepared for. Its that and Particle Physics. Yikes!

I always dread the day we have to go back to school. I hate the fact that we end at 3pm twice a week. I mean common man. I bet we're the only school in Brunei that does that. Ah well.. different system I guess. Thats the way it is for now... This will be the last school year for me! Whoopie! Then its off to higher ed.

My dad says that hes gonna take me and my bros to KK for a short retreat. I hearrd we'll be doing some outward bound stuff as well. Should be interesting. You know what? I only travelled by air once last year. I mean I didn't even manage to visit Singapore once last year. i usually do every year but not last year unfortunately. I miss the SHOPPING there. ooohh I love it!

Am gonna take a short nap zzzz' now. Then after I have to revise some more Physics. I have to keep reminding myself time after time that it'll all soon be OVER...!

Happy New Year Everyone!

As you all know, I'm back from my big hiatus. Finally I have the time to post something up. Its a new year full of new beginnings. I've got my exams coming up in less than a week. This is how my exam timetable looks like:-

12/01/2007 [Friday] - Statistics 1 (Resit)
- Module 1 Physics (Resit)

15/01/2007 [Monday] - CPT 1 Computing (Resit)

18/01/2007 [Thursday]- C3 Mathematics

22/01/2007 [Monday] - Module 4 Physics

and then I'm free! I mean look its not that bad its only 4 days of exams with breaks in between. I'll get over it sooner than i know... i think.. anyway.. Our first church service of the year was great. And it has been said by the Lord that this will be a year full of happenings. All you have to do is get out from your comfort zone and defy status quo and allow him to move. I believe that God has alot in store for me this year and I can't wait to find out what that is. =)

I'm supposed to go to Excapade tonight for Ting's bday dinner but since exams are around the corner my dad said its a no no. Oh wells... looks like I'll never get to go for any of Ting's bday thingys.And I have to finish this Analysis that our computing teacher set for us. Its to be handed in TOMORROW! rush rush...

I have to get on with my analysis so until next time, cheers!
